Terms

These terms apply to orders placed on this website with Curiosity Cove LLC, Draper, Utah. Last updated October 16, 2026.

Made to order

We make each mug from the design you approve in our studio. Please check spelling, photos and both sides before you approve: we print exactly what you approve. If your mug arrives damaged, misprinted or different from the preview you approved, send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we’ll remake it free or refund you. No need to send it back.

Changing or cancelling

For 30 minutes after you pay, you can change your design, the rim and handle color or the gift note, or cancel the order for a full refund, from the link in your order email. A change can’t alter the price of a paid order: to change the sides, extras or packaging, cancel and order again. After 30 minutes your mug is being made, and the order can no longer be changed or cancelled.

Your images and words

By ordering, you confirm you have the right to use every image and text you upload. We may refuse designs that infringe copyrights or trademarks, or that are offensive, and refund the order.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay.

Shipping and returns

Delivery dates shown in the studio and at checkout are the carriers’ estimates for your ZIP code, counted from when your mug ships; we can’t guarantee them. See Shipping and Returns & damage.

Limits on our responsibility

If something goes wrong with your order, we remake your mug or refund what you paid for it, as described above and on Returns & damage. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for an order is the amount you paid for that order, and we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as a missed occasion or a gift bought elsewhere. This doesn’t limit any responsibility the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Which law applies

These terms and your orders are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, where we are based. If we ever disagree, please write to us first: most problems are solved with a remake or a refund. Otherwise, a dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Salt Lake County, Utah, except that either of us may use small claims court. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state.
